It is therefore best to only clean your amber jewelry with warm water and with soft materials, such as a soft cloth or, for larger amounts of dirt, a baby toothbrush. If your amber necklace appears dull or dull after a certain period of time, you can give it a new shine with colorless furniture wax. If possible, avoid contact with your amber jewelry with shower gel, shampoo, perfume or other cosmetics, as the ingredients they contain could be too aggressive for amber.
