SMOOTHIE BOWL MIT BEEREN AND KOKOS | FLEURISCOEUR

SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH BERRIES AND COCONUT

Every morning we try to start the day as healthy and tasty as possible. Most of the time we're not really hungry when we wake up. Therefore, only a light breakfast with fruit and muesli comes into question for us. Smoothie bowls are particularly quick and delicious.

WHAT IS A SMOOTHIE BOWL?

You can mix all sorts of fruits with yoghurt, buttermilk, milk, quark or kefir. It is best to puree them in a blender. If you don't have one, a hand blender will do the trick. You can use granola, oatmeal or other grains as the basis for the smoothie bowl. Then pour the smoothie over this layer. Then come the toppings. There are no limits to your imagination here. Fruits, chocolate sprinkles, nuts, grated coconut, dried fruits or even flowers make your smoothie bowl look beautiful. If you don't have time in the morning, you can of course do without the toppings.

COCONUT BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL

We used oat flakes as the basis for our berry coconut bowl. On top of that comes the smoothie made from a frozen berry mix, coconut milk and Greek yoghurt. I especially like to use the Greek yoghurt because it creates a creamy consistency. The berries make the smoothie so sweet that no additional sugar is needed. I topped the bowl with fresh blueberries, coconut flakes and pink roses.
