Today we would like to show you how you can easily make a marbled polymer clay jewelry bowl yourself. We had a lot of fun with the DIY and we have already tried many different variations.
Material:
You need:
- Polymer Clay Soft
- document
- cling film
- possibly a knife
- oven
- rolling pin
1. Knead the polymer clay until soft
Choose your colors for the bowl. We used about the same amount of the three colors white, beige and pink for our bowls. You then knead them separately until soft.
2. Roll the polymer clay into oblong sausages
3. Twist the sausages together
Now twist the sausages together and roll them up. Then you form a ball and repeat the procedure until you are satisfied with the result.
4. Roll out
Now you can roll out the polymer clay. It is best to place cling film over the mass at the top and bottom so that it does not stick to the rolling pin or the surface.
5. Shaping the shell and baking
After you have rolled out the Fimo as thinly as possible, place it in a fireproof bowl. Now you can wave and fold the edges however you like. If you are satisfied with the result, your DIY project goes into the oven for 30 minutes at 110 degrees. Then let it cool down well.
6. Gold border and variations
Finally, we embellished the bowl with a gold rim. Of course you can also use silver or completely different polymer clay colors. Just get creative and let your imagination run wild.
